Ben is a local artist, designer, and technology specialist who also spends a significant amount of time working on political issues. He is a member of Urbana’s Plan Commission, Development Review Board, and Public Arts Task Force. Ben has been instrumental in a number of recent campaigns, including the election of Laurel Prussing as Urbana’s first female Mayor, and the defeat of a proposal to add at-large seats to Urbana’s city council. Ben is a member of the Champaign County Democratic Central Committee, as well as the party’s technology committee.
